Sources and terms of use for external data, service names, and open-source software used in Kurashi OS.
Weather and location data
Weather data comes from Open-Meteo, under CC BY 4.0. Kurashi OS rounds values and translates weather codes into the selected language.
Location search uses data from GeoNames, retrieved through the Open-Meteo Geocoding API. GeoNames data is used under CC BY 4.0, with selected fields extracted and formatted for display.
Map and rain radar data
Maps use data and standard tiles from © OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL).
Rain radar images come from RainViewer. The agencies providing the underlying weather data vary by region. For details, please see RainViewer's list of data sources.
AI service names
Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC. ChatGPT and OpenAI are trademarks of OpenAI, L.L.C. or its affiliates. Kurashi OS does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from Google or OpenAI.
AI advice uses links that open the respective services and, where configured, the Google Gemini API. Kurashi OS does not guarantee the content of responses from these services.
Payment app names
Apple Wallet (iPhone and iPad only), PayPay, Rakuten Pay, d Payment, and au PAY are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective companies. Kurashi OS launch buttons open apps on the user's device and do not imply that those companies provide, endorse, or sponsor Kurashi OS.
Kurashi OS is not affiliated with these companies and does not use their logos or official app icons.
Open-source software
Kurashi OS uses open-source software including React, Next.js, and Lucide. A list of the software used, together with the copyright notices and license text included in each package, is available in the Third-party license notices, generated from dependencies in the build and delivery environment.
